Skin lesion classifier
A machine learning course project on the HAM10000 images: malignant or benign. A custom CNN against a fine-tuned EfficientNet-B0 in PyTorch, with Optuna, focal loss, a weighted sampler, MixUp and test-time augmentation, plus Grad-CAM to show where the model looks. On 1,002 test images EfficientNet reached an AUC of about 0.93 and a malignant recall of 0.95; the custom CNN reached an AUC of 0.755. Tracked in MLflow, served in Streamlit.
