I write code on a Linux PC, and iOS builds need a Mac. macsim turns a Mac on the network into a remote build server and iPhone Simulator. One command syncs the project over SSH, builds it with xcodebuild or Expo, installs it and launches it, while Metro keeps running on the PC with hot reload. An agent on the PC can tap, type and take screenshots in the Simulator, and I can watch it live in a browser. It ships with an agent skill for Claude Code and Codex, and I used it for the TrueSky and Keenwit builds.

A real iOS Simulator for coding agents on a Linux PC
Two tools that came out of shipping apps alone, from a Linux PC, with coding agents doing a lot of the typing.
